Battle Worlds: Kronos is a classic turn-based strategy game, developed by THQ Nordic, that takes inspiration from the likes of Battle Isle, Advance Wars, and Panzer General. The game is set in a futuristic world where players take on the role of a commander, leading their troops to victory. Battle Worlds: Kronos features two single-player campaigns, offering approximately 50 hours of gameplay, and single-player challenge maps that test the player's skills in different combat scenarios.

One of the most interesting features of the game is its multiplayer modes. Players can battle their friends live on the internet, regardless of platform, or via hot-seat. The game also offers asynchronous multiplayer, allowing players to take as much time as they need to consider their moves. The round is stored on the server and turned over to the opponent. The system allows players to continue the match anytime, anywhere, on any platform.

The game has a powerful map editor, available on Windows only, that allows players to create their own maps and missions. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes a 40-page extended manual with advanced tactics and background information, an 80-page weapon's manual with tips and tricks for every unit, and a digital soundtrack featuring 10 tracks.
